COUNTER Reception OS ("we", "our", "us", or "the Application") is an enterprise front-desk operating system designed for Hotels, Resorts, Hospitals, and Healthcare Clinics, developed and published by Jaggaro (COUNTER Solutions). This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled and protected when using COUNTER Reception OS.

1. Overview & Local-First Philosophy

We strongly respect your privacy. The Application is built on a 100% Local-First Architecture, meaning all operational data, guest details, patient records, invoices, and audit logs are stored locally on your device in an encrypted local database.

Jaggaro does not operate central account servers, telemetry backends, or cloud databases that ingest or monitor your front-desk records.

2. Information We Collect and Process

The Application processes the following business and front-desk data locally on your device:

• Guest / Visitor Data: Name, contact number, government ID type (for hotel check-in compliance), stay duration, and room allocation.
• Patient / Clinical Data: Patient name, Unique Health Identifier (UHID), age, gender, contact number, attending doctor, diagnosis, vitals (BP, SpO2, Pulse, Temp), and ward/bed allocation.
• Financial & Billing Data: Tariff plans, billing items, payment methods (UPI, Cash, Card), transaction reference IDs, invoices, and credit/udhaar ledgers.
• Staff Accounts: Staff name, role, email address, employee ID, and security PIN for terminal auto-lock and access verification.

3. Data Storage, Transmission & Third Parties

• No Third-Party Cloud Data Selling: We do not collect, sell, rent, or monetize your customer, guest, staff, or patient data.
• Local SQLite Persistence: All business and operational records remain on your local Windows PC or configured local device environment.
• Hardware Integrations: Direct USB communication with local POS thermal printers (ESC/POS protocol) and local webcams/document scanners operates entirely offline without transmitting media or print jobs to external servers.

4. Security & Access Controls

The Application incorporates enterprise-grade security features designed to protect sensitive front-desk records at rest and in use:

• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Strict permissions restricting sensitive operations and patient/guest data to authorized staff profiles.
• Automatic Screen Lock & PIN Hashing: Automated timeout screen lock with cryptographically hashed security PINs to prevent unauthorized terminal access.
• Comprehensive Audit Trails: Immutable local logs recording administrative actions, check-ins, bill modifications, and patient status updates.

5. Data Ownership & User Control

You retain complete ownership and control of all records entered into COUNTER Reception OS:

• You can back up, restore, export, or permanently erase your local database records directly from within the Application or your local file system.
• Because Jaggaro does not maintain copies of your data on remote servers, uninstalling the Application and deleting local storage completely removes the data from the device.

6. Children's Privacy

COUNTER Reception OS is an enterprise and business administration tool intended for commercial front-desk operations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 for our own purposes.
